About the Texture Series
A new series that pushes the expression of the paper’s own texture further by applying wax. The embossed pattern made by an engraved press roll and the colors reproduced from carefully color-managed raw materials take on greater depth after waxing. Differences in the amount of wax also produce contrasts in transparency that you can enjoy.

About the color: Edo Tea (Edocha)
Popular in the Edo period as “Edo’s favorite brown.” The word “Edo” was added to the name to mark it as a new color typical of Edo, as distinct from Kyoto, the capital at the time. It was also used as a base color for kosode (small-sleeved kimono), which were fashionable then.
